Searching for my grandfather's family, the last name has variations of Doose / Dose / Dohse. He was born northeast of Kiel in 1833. Giekau and Gadendorf appear with some relatives. Also any info that might be available about great grandparents Christoph & Sophia Thomsmann Meyer would be appreciated. My grandfather K. Henry Meyer was born in 1852 in Oldenburg.

My G-G-G-Grandfather Frederick Linnstaedt was born in Pommerania in 1836. He was the fifth of 10 children, 9 boys and 1 girl. He married Wilheminia Hohensee. They had a daughter Mary. He was in the prussian army and came to America in 1865. I believe his fathers name was Gottlob Linnstaedt and they possibly lived in the Bromberg area. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Karen, I am looking for the Pauls family from Prussia Germany and the german spelling of the name.,also I have found church records here for Kloostercamp? Henry Pauls came to Wisc in 1874 from Rotterdam, Netherlands, with his future wife, whom he married in the USA, her name was Johanna Wiggers born in Westervoort. Why would he have been in the Netherlands if all his records in the Catholic churches here say Prussia, Germany?. I have found Johanna Wiggers family, but have had no success on Henry Pauls b.1846. I know his father was Cornelius Pauls and his mother was Catherine Michels. Any help would be appreciated..Thankyou!.Sue

His name was David Christian Seeger/Sager and he was from the Kingdom of Hanover Village of Walbrecheshause. He was born abt. Sept.29,1802 and his wife was Mary Catherine Hanna C Rorick, also of Germany, and she was born August 07,1807. I have been trying to find data on my line of the Arndt family from a small village in Hinter Pommern called Guetzlaffshagen. I have a brief line of my male Arndt line back to around 1700, but need far more data. Also I would like data on the village. My ancestors immigrated to Milwaukee Wisconsin somewhere between 1850 and 1870, I think.
